Jamshedpur: Chief Minister’s representative Pawan Agrawal visited several bastis of the city on Wednesday and met local residents to discuss various issues with them. He held meetings with the residents and informed them about various government schemes.
Speaking to the residents of Bagti Basti, Agrawal said those not having LPG connection should come forward and get their names listed in order to avail the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala scheme. Free LPG connections would be provided to poor families under the scheme, he said.
Agrawal said a building would soon be constructed in the basti under the MLA’s fund. He went on to see basic civic amenities in the locality. He said water and electricity would be provided round the clock to the residents.
Agrawal also went to Sonia Basti, Brij Bihari Bagan and the Lakdi Tal area.
